About a month ago Brian visited his brother Rodney on a logging site above Kamiah, ID
Have any of you seen the t.v. show "The Axe Men"? These guys are the real deal. That is Rodney operating what is called a Yarder. (FYI- Brian, who is now studying Forestry, used to work as a logger also.)
The Yarder pulls cut logs up the mountain side, where the logs are later cut to size, and loaded on a logging truck.

Oh, I have to show Shane this. Axe men is one of his absolute favorite shows. He's like obsessed. It just freaks me out! He will really appreciate this photos
